Since taking over the garage in April 2008 we have embarked on a major internal and external refurbishment project to modernise the garage both in appearance and technology.

The first stage of the refurbishment was completed in September 2008. This was an internal change to the workshop which consisted of removing the old and extremely tired 4 post vehicle lifts and installing three state of the art in ground 3.5 tonne car and light commercial lifts. We also purchased the very latest in Engine Management and computerised diagnostic equipment which allows us to work on the majority of makes and models of vehicle.

The in ground lifts offer an up to date solution for raising vehicles and are used in many prestigious marques repair centres such as Mercedes Benz and Audi. They are extremely aesthetically pleasing and bring a modern twist to a usually less interesting way of raising vehicles.

We then installed the very latest four wheel alignment equipment which is approved by Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz and the Volkswagen Audi group. This has given us the upper hand on every other local garage and tyre fitting centre as we are the only repairer in Peterborough to have this equipment available to the retail customer. When installation was completed on the vehicle lifts and alignment bay we tiled the floor completely in the whole area of the newly equipped side of the workshop giving a smart and up to date appearance which is easy to maintain and keep the workshop looking modern for the future.

We have phase two of the workshop refurbishment planned for later this year which will involve removing the remaining car and commercial 4 post lifts and replacing them with 3.5 and 7.5 tonne modern in ground lifts which will match the previously installed ones on the opposite side of the workshop. We also plan to replace the existing MoT bays and install the latest Automated Test Lanes which will enable us to offer an even more efficient MoT test.

Before phase two commences we will complete our brand new showroom and reception area which will offer our customers a Mercedes style feel to their visit. The showroom area will offer a brand new comfortable waiting area which will have a 42” LCD display and coffee / tea facilities for our customers including Wi-Fi. You will also be able to view some of our cars on sale in the comfort of the indoors.
